Retaining Walls

Retaining walls are often an important feature integrated into an overall landscape design plan.  Walls are often used to help maximize land use of areas with a steep grade, making fuller use of otherwise difficult-to-use space.  Retaining walls are also used to build up flower beds to effectively hold soil and plants in while enhancing overall beauty, and also often used to make spaces more private such as sitting areas around a fire pit.  A properly constructed retaining wall is often reinforced with steel depending upon the height and soil conditions, and may be constructed beneath the surface for enhanced strength and to ensure they last for many years.
